Hotel Amarano Burbank-Hollywood Debuts Renovation & Rebrand by HBA Los Angeles

In the Hollywood hideaway's second act, the 132-room Hotel Amarano Burbank-Hollywood reemerges with narrative-driven interiors and branding conceived by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), personified by a fictional muse and gracious host named Amara. Stepping into Hotel Amarano is like stepping into Amara’s home, a welcoming Southern California retreat inspired by the history of Burbank, its studios and ranches, and Old Hollywood mystique.

The retro-glam aesthetic begins in the lobby, a residential-style foyer with black-and-white marble floors, arched ceiling and a large-scale sculpture of Amara’s white horse projecting from the lobby wall. Guestrooms are instilled with a classic color palette of navy, taupe and white accented with warm wood and gold. Fixtures like refurbished trunk dressers, antique gold-trimmed mirrors, vintage desk phones and gold velvet headboards lend to the Old Hollywood vibe.

In a nod to the entertainment industry, FYC Bar + Kitchen (“For Your Consideration”) is a new bar and restaurant serving globe-trotting cuisine inspired by Amara’s wanderlust. The elegant living room is accentuated by floor-to-ceiling bookshelves displaying Old Hollywood and Burbank memorabilia. The convivial bar and restaurant continues outdoors to an alfresco patio adorned with lush landscaping, Spanish accents and hanging lanterns.
