A reading corner takes full advantage of floor-to-ceiling window light.

The Adrian Pearsall sofa was sourced from The Swanky Abode on 1st Dibs, and the fire tools are also from the Sunshine Shop, a local vintage store.

The angled roof structure informs the interior spaces and helps to define the various zones. The higher ceilings above the dining area work to embrace the views, whilst the lower ceiling over the living space creates a cosy atmosphere.

The screened porch features white-washed cedar walls and a clear cedar ceiling. Wrought Studio chairs and a Ratana sectional surround a coffee table from Article.

The vintage Parker Knoll armchairs were re-upholstered after the renovation.

Custom metal shelves display books. The flooring throughout is white oak, and its color syncs nicely with the tones in the brick—inside and out.

A low-slung, built-in bench runs along the expanse of glass in the sauna building, offering visitors a place to sit and ponder nature.

Now, built-in sofas line the perimeter of the room and utilize the room’s shape better.

Quartersawn oak built-ins throughout the house were fabricated by Toronto cabinetmaker Built Work Design.

The cozy living area features a refurbished Børge Mogensen chair and a Recover sofa from Bolia. The coffee table was sourced from Jotex.

Firebrick lines both the wall and floor so that the fire can be lit right on the ground for an ultra-cozy night in.
