Brookside Addition

To accommodate the needs of a modern family that wanted to stay in their 1928 two story 3 bedroom 1 bath tudor house in an urban environment two clear directions were established. The first was to focus on the experience of the space by opening up the kitchen, bringing in natural light & by being efficient, but smart with the layout. The second was to elegantly merge the historic with the modern treating the master bedroom addition as a modern intervention that respects the original house.
