The custom natural oak vanity was fabricated by Greenpiece Furniture, with a quartz countertop in ‘Serena Gold’ by Vadara. The freestanding tub is by Kohler.

In the bathroom, Kevin specified large format porcelain floor tile with staggered 2x8 ceramic Clé Tile on the walls.

The bathrooms have been kitted out with classical British-style fixtures that correspond with the era of the original house.

For the bathroom in an ongoing home renovation, the studio created 1,100 custom-glazed tiles inspired by a map of Cumberland Island off of Georgia’s southern coast.

The slatted siding is not just an aesthetic choice, but also a practical one that provides privacy. The master bath features touch-latch cabinets and fixtures by California Faucets.

In the en suite bath on the second floor, a concrete floor gives way to a round, tiled, double-height space that culminates in a skylight. Plants hang on either side of a custom shower-head from Still Bathrooms. The faucets is from Crestial and the pendants are from Spazio Lighting.

A circular skylight positioned above the master ensuite shower introduces natural light into the space, allowing the residents to connect with the outside world in every part of the home.

The bathroom features Carrara marble vanity tops, timber joinery, Inax wall tiles, and Fibonnaci Stone terrazzo flooring—natural materials that add a crafted touch to the home.

As soon as guests enter the revamped apartment they notice the hallway bathroom clad in earthy, Bauhaus-approved 10 x 10 cm cement tiles from Otti Manufactura in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.

An oversized soaking tub awaits in the spacious master bath.

Chris painted all the interior walls. He opted for a lime wash treatment in the primary suite to add depth and texture to the rooms.

Among Jessy’s favorite original details are the door headers, which are the same width as the doors themselves. A fresh coat of white paint from Sherwin-Williams gives the house a clean look. The bathroom tile is by Heath in French Gray Manganese.

The skylight and floor-to-ceiling glass windows invite nature into the bathing area of the bathroom.

A pair of custom, white oak vanities by Tom Appleton stand in the new primary bathroom, which features honed white Carrara marble from North County Tile. A metal-framed mirror from Restoration Hardware, Ethel sconces from Worley’s Lighting, and polished nickel fixtures from Kohler complete the scheme. A Signature Hardware tub sits between.

Bedrosians ceramic tile was used on the walls and ceiling in the master bathroom.

“The screening and this outdoor area off the en suite allowed them a garden at roof level—the green wall was the clients’ idea!” says Litera. “It creates a beautiful buffer between the real world and their sanctuary.”
