The German-born homeowner requested the interior to reflect the design aesthetics he grew up around in his hometown of Cologne. Therefore, the space incorporates red brick walls and wood beams, along with subtle, muted tones and modern furnishings to create a cozy, comfortable home. #KCDesignStudio

The homeowner longed for a vacation-like space with views of nature, but its city location made that impossible. To give him a taste of greenery, the balcony was filled with plants that can be seen from every window. #KCDesignStudio
