Architecture Spotlight #37 | Aptos Beach Remodel | Santa Cruz, CA

This Aptos Beach remodel was a unique collaboration of ideas from the home owner and Seacliff Construction and Design. We looked at every room and tried to imagine how they would be used. This led to redesigns of many key features including an added kitchenette downstairs for the kids and guests, built-in cabinets for the master suite, a sauna, wine bar, outdoor spaces such as the private entrance patio and outdoor shower, as well as numerous custom features designed to enhance the comfort and experience of the home owners and their guests. We added a glass railing with custom etched wave design for the entry stairway, and a frameless glass railing for the exterior ocean facing decks to create an unobstructed view of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, and master suite.
