Anna: Medium Format Digi-back for your iPhone! Don't go garagesaling your old film cameras just yet! Badass Cameras has just created a medium format digital back for your Hasselblad, specifically for the use/fit of your iPhone. They just put their project on Kickstarter, and they're way past their goal to get this product going.

Eujin: Alexander Calder's Entire 1964 Guggenheim Retrospective Catalogue Way to make my heart go pitter-patter. The Guggenheim announced on Twitter a few days ago that American scultor Alexander Calder's 1964 retro catalogue was readily available to view online. With 108 pages of interesting insights and beautiful photos of both personal and of his work, it's a definite must for anyone. As former Guggenheim museum director Thomas Messer once said, "Calder, it must be remembered, did not invent motion but rather found a place for it in the expressive vocabulary of art.

Olivia: FF Orlin Culture Shop As a renter, I tend to splurge on art rather than furniture, so I am always on the lookout for up-and-coming artists. I currently love Colorado-based Orlin Culture Shop’s 80s inspired graphic illustrations.

Erika: Daksh Sahni’s 3D-printed sculpture Artist Daksh Sahni collaborates on multimedia artworks with his fiancée, Simone Alexandrino—it’s a kind of 3D love story. From Alexandrino’s amazingly intricate drawings—some of which take years to complete—Sahni, who holds a master’s in architecture from UCLA, focuses in on and isolates a small portion, then renders it in various forms, including wood cuts, aluminum di-bond prints, and our favorite, 3D-printed sculpture.

Diana: Aerial Photos by Gerco de Ruijter Dutch photographer Gerco de Ruijter took photos of a tree farm in Holland resulting in a view that looks like an abstract painting, or as one commenter said, "these are clearly carpets, not trees."

Julia: Painting With Thread I came across the beautiful work of Salt Lake City-based artist Stephanie Clark. Her art tool of choice? Thread! She creates amazing pieces by embroidering onto canvas. Her series of dwellings immediately caught my eye. The vibrant colors and simple compositions are wonderful.

Kelsey: Camerino Valet Stand I try not to get my heart set on too many Kickstarter projects, considering the nature of crowd-funding. (Sometimes a boon, sometimes a total failure.) However, I am very pleased to report that Camerino, a flat-pack valet stand designed by London-based duo Brose~Fogale, was officially funded today. Let's talk about the thing itself: right on trend with the garment racks we've been seeing, crafted from solid wood, and available with copper accents (check!) and fluorescent paint (check, check!). The rewards are appealing, as well, including matching posters, key rings, hooks, and mirrors in same Camerino profile. Look for this studio; they're bound to make a name for themselves.
