Georgina Verza had been dreaming about expanding her yoga and massage studio for years. She’d been operating in the remodeled basement of her 1967 split-level home in Redmond, Washington, just outside of Seattle, but it was evident that she’d outgrown the space. She and her husband, Diego, had taken on other renovation projects themselves, but for this, they enlisted architect Robert Hutchison.
