Tolila & Gililand is the Paris–based design collaborative of Gaston Tolila and Nicholas Gilliand. The two architects began working together in 2003 through a humanitarian architecture competition. Their project was later exhibited at the Pompidou Center in Paris in 2005. Since then, they have continued to collaborate on numerous architecture, urbanism, and design projects. They founded Tolila & Gilliland atelier d’architecture in 2011 and in 2012, their work was awarded the French National prize for their first built work. The studio designs architecture projects, retail spaces, and objects, and also participates in art collaborations.
