Lego is the venerable toy company founded in 1932 in the village of Billund, Denmark by Ole Kirk Kristiansen, a master carpenter and joiner. The motto of the company then and now is "only the best is good enough." The well-loved LEGO building bricks made their debut in the 1950's and have since become synonymous with the brand.
