The home features an architectural form that gracefully curves over the surrounding woods and makes one feel closer to nature - as if under a tree canopy. Armin Staprans explains, "Starting with the belief that humans have evolved in nature over eons of time, it is easy to believe that this has left an imprint on our brains. We feel comfort around, and have an affinity for, natural forms - they are soft on our eyes, hands, and hearts. At the exterior, buttresses with angled posts support multi-toned green arched roofs echoing the same forms and colors we see in the surrounding landscape."
