Before & After: A Wood-Laden Lake Tahoe Cabin Gets a Dose of Scandi Cool

Designers Sandy Lee Welsh and Hana Mattingly worked with the owners to instill a whole new look and feel, starting in the kitchen. "We’re big foodies, and we love to cook and host," says Kirsti—so the home is designed to accommodate gatherings of family and friends. The designers relocated the sink to facilitate conversation between the kitchen and the bar. The high stools in soaped oak and natural leather are from the Danish Design Store.
