Award-winning actor and producer Michael Douglas is officially parting ways with his historic Mediterranean retreat known as S’Estaca. Nestled on the northwest coast of Mallorca, the secluded property dates back to the 19th century when Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria acquired the estate and set about redeveloping it for his mistress.

The stunning estate, known as S'Estaca, is sited on the northwest coast of Mallorca, between the villages of Valldemossa and Deià.

Douglas, who is married to actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, first purchased the property in 1990 with his former wife, Diandra Luker. While he listed the estate in 2014 for nearly $60,000,000, the two-time Academy Award winner has put the villa back on the market—this time for €28,900,000 (approximately $32,714,814).

The main house was purchased in 1867 by Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Habsburg, who revamped the home in the Aeolian architectural style.
