Eero Aarnio Ball Chair
Ball Chair was designed by Eero Aarnio in 1963 and presented at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne in 1966, and it became Aarnio's international breakthrough. Eero Aarnio has always been fascinated by new materials and round shapes - one of his favourite materials is fibreglass, which gives the chair a free, elastic shape. The round shell of the Ball Chair is simple yet ingenious, and has often been referred to as a “room in a room”. Ball Chair is one of the best-known classics of Finnish design, even though its modernist, futuristic design differs from the natural and minimalist Scandinavian design traditions. Ball Chair can be found in the collections of design museums around the world, and during the decades it has been featured in numerous movies, music videos and magazine covers. Studio Macura’s Lava is a clever vase that consists of a simple glass cylinder and a round pumice stone. The function of the pierced stone is to hold the stem of a plant straight – due to the oval shape the stone does not roll around but stays upright. The vase is suitable for flowers of different lengths since the height of the floating stone can be adjusted by altering the amount of water. Lava is a beautiful union of glass and porous pumice stone.

Hartô's Hyppolite is a mid-century inspired but still modern secretary desk designed by Florence Watine. ShopArchitectmade Trepas Tea Light Holder Set
Trepas Six from Architectmade is a set of six tealight holders in copper, steel and brass, designed by Peter Karpf in 1966. The candle flame will give a warm and vivid shine for the polished surfaces of the holders, and their clean, rounded shapes adorn all kinds of decors. The Trepas holders can be positioned in various different ways – arrange them on a metal tray, mantelpiece or dining table, or stack them on top of each other in a pile of two, three or several pieces.
Shop&Tradition In Between SK1 Chair
In Between SK1 chair, designed by Sami Kallio for &Tradition, is defined by the gaps in the crescent-shaped back and armrest. The shape of the wood veneer panels also give the chair its name: In Between. Made of solid ash or oak, In Between is an exercise in wood craftsmanship. Traditional techniques, such as compression moulding and woodturning, are used to achieve its form. The shape of the chair is light and balanced, and it is suitable for various spaces and rooms. Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) made a unique modernist mark. Influenced by both the landscape and the political independence of his native Finland, he designed warm, curving, compassionate buildings, wholly set apart from the slick, mechanistic, geometric designs that characterized much contemporary European practice. Whether a church, a villa, a sauna, or a public library, Aalto's organic structures tended to replace plaster and steel with brick and wood, often incorporating undulating, wave-like forms, which would also appear in his chair, glassware, and lamp designs. An adherent to detail, Aalto insisted upon the humanity of his work stating: "Modern architecture does not mean using immature new materials; the main thing is to work with materials towards a more human line."

Glo is a sculptural tealight holder, which will, true to Nedre Foss' ideology, serve its owner for at least a century. Designers Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll examined various structures, surfaces and materials – from pre-history to modern Scandinavian design tradition – in order to establish what kind of an object would stand the test of time. The outcome is a beautiful cast iron tealight holder, which was given the name Glo, Norwegian for ember. Glo is a scoop of light that features a sturdy yet pleasant design and accommodates both standard and large tealights.
