Architect Lionel Morrison is known around Dallas, Texas, for his modernist designs, including the city's Museum of Art and numerous other award-winning projects. Among his residential commissions is a recently listed home in the popular Turtle Creek area, north of downtown. Sited along a narrow and irregular lot, the home contrasts an austere facade with an L-shaped interior that opens around a courtyard and pool.

The front-most section of the facade is covered in Roman travertine, while the rest of the exterior is finished in hard-troweled stucco.
