Developed over the span of 30 years by Australian practice Stephen Sainsbury Architects to address the need for modular panel system buildings in sites that are remote and difficult to build on, Ecoshelta pods were inspired by the Japanese joined timber framed pavilions that were used in the Tasmanian wilderness. Constructed with panelized systems, insulated panel roof and a high strength marine grade light-weight aluminum alloy frame, these pods which have a low ecological impact and are a great choice for warmer climates.
