With the chic design and cozy comfort of Dwell x Chicory’s exclusive line of outdoor furniture, spending time outside never looked—or felt—so good. While the style is sure to lure you outdoors, the high-performance materials and easy-care fabric set are built to keep you there year after year.
Not only do the rich teak frames add warmth to any outdoor setup, the FSC-certified wood resists warping, rot, and corrosion. Requiring no ongoing maintenance, the wood will develop a natural silver-gray patina over time. If desired, teak sealer can be used to preserve the golden-brown color, or teak oil can be applied to achieve a deeper, glossy brown. With or without added treatments, the Grade A teak wood contains natural oils that make it inherently durable and resistant to corrosive elements.
Both moisture- and stain-resistant, Chicory’s fabric assortment offers luxe comfort and sumptuous texture—without the worry. "Our performance fabrics are as stain-resistant as it gets," shares Ben Parsa, founder and CEO. From water to wine, soda to salsa, spills typically bead on the fabric’s surface, resisting absorption. In most cases, a quick blot with a microfiber cloth will render the spill undetectable.
All of Chicory’s outdoor fabrics are solution-dyed as well, meaning that the color penetrates the entire fabric core, not just the surface—imparting ultimate color-fastness. For tough or set-in spills, all fabrics can be bleach cleaned without fear of altering the color. "Solution-dyed, bleach-cleanable fabrics are the best choice to ensure customers can live carefree, and ensure their outdoor furniture remains in premium shape," Parsa says.
In addition to new luxury textures, fresh colorways elevate Chicory’s outdoor furniture to suit a variety of locations and aesthetics. Modern hues like Ocean—a tranquil blue— and Rust—a warm, earthy burnt-orange—provide fresh alternatives to outdoor neutrals. "[The collection] offers an incredibly unique style and seating experience for our customer," says Parsa. "Plush, luxe comfort can now be experienced outdoors."
