    Christophe Pillet is a French designer who works in a variety of fields, from product and interior design to architecture and set design. Pillet focuses on achieving simple elegance with few details, relying on the strength of his designs to communicate a consistent, sophisticated meaning. Pillet graduated from Nice’s Arts Décoratifs College in 1985 and in 1986, became Master of Domus Academy. Pillet has collaborated with a variety of brands and designers including Cappellini, Lacoste, L’Oréal, Whirlpool, and Shiseido.

    Paula Wallace is the president and founder of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), a private, nonprofit, accredited university for creative careers. Established in 1978, SCAD is the most comprehensive art and design university in the United States, offering more than 100 academic degree programs with locations in Atlanta and Savannah, Ga., Hong Kong, and Lacoste, France, as well as an award-winning eLearning program. Among many awards and honors, she has been named Southeast Area Ernst & Young Principled Leadership Entrepreneur of the Year and was awarded the inaugural Elle Décor Vision Award. Wallace has been appointed a Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques by the Conseiller Culturel and Consul Général of the French Embassy in the United States of America, and the Georgia Historical Society named her a 2015 Georgia Trustee. In 2016, Wallace received the American Institute of Architects’ Roger Milliken Honorary AIA Award, which recognizes an individual “who has held the design community to a higher standard and made the world a better place through the use of design.”

    Industrial designer from Pratt Institute’s graduate program (New York, 2004), with a BA degree in industrial design from Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City, 1997) and furniture design studies from the Danish Design School (2003). He runs the design firm Godoylab, and is the design director of the furniture manufacturer Pirwi. He teaches industrial design at Centro de Diseño, Cine y Televisión (Mexico), and has taught design at UNAM’s Centre for Industrial Design Research, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, ITESM (mexico), Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico) and at the Pratt Institute (New York). He is a staff editor of the quarterly architecture and design magazine Arquine, where he periodically writes reviews and essays, is part of the design collective NEL, as well as a member of the Advisory Board of the UNESCO/Felissimo Social Design Network. Emiliano Godoy has worked for companies such as Nouvel, Pirwi, 3-form, Weidmann, Lacoste, ALIS/MOOA, Arta Cerámica, Pepsico, Holland Chemical International (HCI), Pipeline Integrity International (PII), Pipetronix, WESCO Distribution, el Museo de la Ciudad de México, Proteak, among others.
