• Craig Reynolds Landscape Architecture
    @craigreynoldslandscapearchitecture
    Craig Reynolds was a fine artist and then a Landscape Architect. That combination of art and science is at the heart of each garden. Our projects are as geographically diverse as they are in style. Each project is designed in response to the unique features and requirements of the individual property. The completed gardens seamlessly integrate the hardscape and softscape, making them look as if they were always there, encouraging nature instead of containing it.
  • Coughlin Scheel Architects
    @coughlinscheel
    Our work does not focus on a particular type of project but hopes to transcend use. The work does not have a style but instead focuses on critical problem-solving to produce something unique. The work resides between brackets, among actors, and within relationships. Dancing between these entities, the outcome strives for positiveness, positioned at the heart of the matter. Founded by Paul Coughlin and Annie Scheel in 2013 after working for nearly 15 years for some great firms. Paul and Annie are NCARB certified and licensed in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut and Georgia. coughlinscheel.com

    Our mission is to affect positive change through our architecture, and that means creating beautiful, ultra-efficient, and healthy environments that matter—to our clients, to the environment, to the future. We are leaders in the field of Passive House design and building science, and bring our expertise to bear on a wide range of project types. Our design vocabulary spans from classic to modern; instead of a “signature style,” our dogma is authenticity and quality.

  • SsD Architecture
    @ssd_architecture
    SsDis an architecture firm that approaches design as a convergent, interdisciplinary venture. Minimum form takes maximum effect with the goal to bridge the utopian and the pragmatic. Instead of separating aspects of architecture, landscape, history, social systems, and codes into their constituent disciplines, these agendas are simultaneously explored so that each discipline symbiotically gains from the other. In this way sustainability emerges as an integrated rather than additive result.

    Simon Legald (born 1986) is a Danish product designer located in Copenhagen and studies at the The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design - Graduates in 2012. Works with both small- and large scale products. "Honesty is what makes a product understandable, and is what describes the products functionality. If you understand the product, then it doesn't need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological- and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects, and makes them trustworthy. In my design I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them it gives the product a simple and honest expression."

  • RUX Design
    @ruxdesign
    In 2008 RUX founder and principal Russell Greenberg set out to build a new kind of creative company “where lightning would strike twice daily,” a kind of perpetual brainstorm space fueled by the friction between extreme right-brain and extreme left-brain thinking. Rather than specializing in one industry sector like architecture, or industrial design, or graphic design, RUX would purposefully de-specialize, and instead focus on cultivating a rich and complex company culture focused on "creatively inspired common sense thinking."

  • Dyson
    @dyson
    Founded in 1992 by Sir James Dyson, Dyson Ltd is a technology company which designs and manufactures vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, bladeless fans, and more. Known for innovation, invention it took 5,127 prototype to develop the now renowned Dual Cyclone™ technology and the first vacuum that didn't lose suction. The DC01 became a global best-seller and today you can find Dyson machines in 45 countries. James Dyson attended London’s Byam Shaw art school but painting beautiful objects wasn’t enough. James wanted to make, and the Royal College of Art allowed just that. James studied architecture, but instead of colonnades and cladding, robust marine engineering was the order of the day. He developed a flat-hulled high-speed landing craft and, with it, his passion for engineering. Pretty soon, he’d also developed a new kind of wheelbarrow—one with a big fat ball that didn’t sink into mud and chunky feet for stability. All the while learning to take risks, make mistakes and use frustration as a fuel for creativity and solving problems. During the five years it took to develop his first vacuum, James was also battling. First to convince other manufacturers to embrace his new technology. Then to protect his invention when they copied it. It’s enough to give you a complex. And it did. James’ experience informs the way Dyson works today.

    Eat fresh foods instead of foods that can be kept for years. Processed foods are very bad for the body because companies add lots of unnecessary chemicals in order to keep the food preserved. Foods that have a short shelf life are less likely to have these additional unhealthy chemicals. This keeps weight under control. https://www.saulmd.com/ikaria-lean-belly-juice-reviews/

  • AVA
    @ava1647
    Vivek Gupta refers to himself as a chef who does a lot of cooking, cooking of ideas and on some occasion’s food. Being an enthusiast right from college his flair for people and passion for design led him to jumpstart to what we call a “STARTUP” in today’s lingo. Thus, AVA design studio was formed in 1984 to bring the craft of interiors, architecture and urban planning together in a single workspace. His work tends to bear a design vocabulary that is open to interpretation of experience, or he says “Think of my projects as savouring a dish, you give me an egg and instead of an omelette I will present a souffle”. His style constitutes a bit flamboyance, with a hint of imperfection and is yet fundamental, allowing the users to enjoy the built from their divergent perceptions. A dash of colour, a court, a silhouette of light, change in materials, a skewed plane or some deflection add a certain momentum to his architecture.

  • Dominic Wilcox
    @dominic_wilcox
    Dominic Wilcox works between the worlds of art, design, craft and technology to create innovative and thought-provoking objects. Wilcox, who was born in Sunderland and is now based in London, received his MA at the Royal College of Art in 2002 and has since been commissioned by people and organizations to think up unique, interesting ideas and turn them into reality. From a xylophone bin to a finger nose stylus, the inventor is the master of repurposing everyday objects. The effects, documented in his new book, Variations on Normal, range from whimsical to surreal to slightly disturbing. Many of the Wilcox's works have a humorous slant and subvert everyday items, turning them into something unexpected. The artist's playful creativity, however, is no joke. His process is long and requires much learning: investigating methods of manufacturing, acquiring new skills or persuading experts to help. Wilcox doesn’t specialize in any one material or technique, instead letting the idea decide. “A lot of my work is based on everyday things and it’s very rare for me to do something in luxury materials," he says. What’s ultimately so fascinating about Wilcox's whimsical, awe-inspiring artworks is the way in which they compel the viewer to see ordinary things in a new light.

  • Punch Architecture
    @Puncharc
    Punch's work is much more than just architecture, interiors, design and fabrication. It goes beyond the aesthetic, and incorporates the business with the holistic that connects and creates. The work is about the experience that creates a physical and emotional response. The core components are rooted in process, customization, client collaboration, and design integrated services. Punch's process starts with an idea that may appear singular at first glance, but is ultimately layered with multiple elements that become a concept which eventually leads to the finished story through the experience the work creates. This ability to combine elements of storytelling with environment through trans-formative exploration is the foundation for everything we work on. The success lies in the research, design strategy, and social context that is specific for each space and client. We create environments and products that are site specific to the client and their brand, while being conscientious of the impact the design makes on the surrounding environment. Our projects are original works that embody passion, integrity, quality, and beauty; yet maintain functionality. We are not limited by one field, but instead design and create in a multitude of disciplines. Each space and environment that Punch works on is unique and requires an adaptable process that meets the client and end users needs while keeping design integrity that truly tells a story.

So when Cronin, director and CEO of the Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries, began planning the institute’s first research facility, the Center for Environmental Innovation and Education, he knew its physical form should embody its ecological ideals. Instead of just building green, he went one better: Working with international architecture and design firm Gensler, he transformed an abandoned 19th-century brick factory into a state-of-the-art structure packed with sustainable technologies.
