Israel-born designer Ron Arad (born 1951) has made a name for himself with highly expressive sculptural furniture, employing a variety of materials, from high-tech to ready-made. Lobmeyr was founded in Vienna, Austria in 1823 by Josef Lobmeyr, and quickly became a purveyor to the Hapsburg imperial family. The company embraced the Wiener Werkstätte under the stewardship of Stefan Rath senior in 1912. The company began making chandeliers after the war, eventually acquiring Zahn (founded 1780) in 1972. Stuart Haygarth is a British-born and Berlin-based illustrator, artist, lighting designer. Starting in 2004 he has been working on design projects which revolve around the collections of objects.The objects are normally collected in large quantities categorized and assembled in a way that transforms their meaning. Francisco Gomez Paz was born in Salta, Argentina in 1975. After obtaining the Industrial Design degree at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba he moves to Milan in 1998 where he attends the Master in Design at Domus Academy.Since opening his design office in Milan in 2004 he has developed products for leading design companies such as Artemide, Driade, Danese, Lensvelt, Luceplan, Olivetti and Sector among others. Francisco's approach to design is driven by his own curiosity, the knowledge of technology and materials and a highly experimental, hands-on creative process. His work has received several international recognitions such as the Good Design Award 2010 and the Red Dot Award 2010; he has been honored together with Alberto Meda with the First Prize of the Index Award for the Solar Bottle, which has also been selected for the MOMA's Study Collection and recently he received the Prize of Prizes to Innovation in Design from Italy's president Giorgio Napolitano for the Hope chandelier. He is active in the fields of research and education, he is visiting professor at Domus Academy from 2000 and has held lectures in Italy and abroad. His projects have been exhibited in several international events and published by main design publications.

Designfenzider's hybrid objects combine material wit with aesthetic play; they sit on the fat, delicious line between the abstract and the functional. The collection includes domestic objects that range from a minimal "fruit bowl" comprised of a sleek supporting plate paired with an architectural fence, to a "half-function" porcelain top that creates a vase when placed on any container, and a chandelier of desk-lamps. The objects, which vary from one-off to limited editions and production pieces, have no "expiration date". They reside in both public and private collections worldwide. Designfenzider asks unceasing questions in 3D form, and fabricates answers that create an arena for fertile doubt.
