TOMASO BOANO & JONAS PRISMONTAS

We are a duo that collaborated on many projects since 2014.
Our design ethos combines an interest for self-built architecture with an intellectual approach consistently oriented to investigating and challenging the way we live.

Our work has largely been focused on small-scale architecture. We believe "small-scale" is a granular and powerful key to the reading of everyday questions about the way we co-exist and conceive our world.

We think that great and successful architecture encompasses and draws inspiration from number of disciplines. Furthermore, it embraces and supports the technological development in order to promote social and economical advancement.

From construction details to graphic representation, architecture offers the valuable opportunity to convey a sense of wonder - a permeable and distinctive characteristic that informs our cities and shapes our feelings and memories.

In other words,

we simply like to play, craft, design, make, doubt, investigate, and challenge ourselves and the world around us.
