An architectural designer and an artist harnessed the collective power of their design firm to remake a dilapidated mid-century gem into a hillside perch for their family.

Chilean designer Matias Ruiz Malbran, who creates pieces as a partner in design firm Ruizsolar, based in Santiago. His piece, Stick Lamp L120 is an LED-illuminated piece comprised of Chilean Lenga wood and colorful rope.
