If you’ve ever fantasized about living in a historic building—or packing your bags for Sweden—here’s your chance to do both. Located in the quaint area of Nynäshamn, a 45-minute drive from Stockholm, this home is set in a train station designed in 1901 by Swedish architect Ferdinand Boberg.

A bright-red roof caps the transformed station, which rests in a convenient, central location in the town of Nynäshamn. A shingle-clad, mustard-hued facade amps up the home’s curb appeal.

Ösmo Station was built in the national romantic style, which is often referred to as the successor to art nouveau. "Ferdinand Boberg became a trendsetter for the design language in Swedish architecture," notes agent Björn Schumacher. "Ösmo station is proof of this; it was designed nearly 10 years before national romanticism had its golden years in the country."
