Founded by Michelle Linden and Henry Walters in 2012 on the belief that good design can truly improve lives, we carry forward a philosophy that never loses sight of the fact that uncomplicated, robust solutions are the most effective for fostering a connection between space and the human scale. Firmly rooted in modern design, Atelier Drome embraces collaborative efforts with clients and puts enormous emphasis on understanding and embracing each owner’s unique vision, desires, and needs. The result is a cohesive spatial experience formed as an embodiment of each client’s individuality. We believe design incorporates multiple levels of experience — forms, textures, light — each of which has the power to positively impact individual lives and strengthen communities. Intelligent solutions. Integrated design. Lasting impact.
  • Portland Apron Company
Since 2012 I've been designing and sewing linen and hemp aprons for individuals and businesses from my small studio. I love sewing, learning about sustainable fabrics, creating, and connecting with others. I make aprons I want to wear (and do!) by creating simple designs in flattering, functional patterns. It's my belief that if you use natural, sustainable fabrics and quality stitches, the beauty of the items speak for themselves. I love Japanese style aprons and linen pinafores you might see in an Anne of Green Gables movie. I hope my aprons inspire people to frolic in the sun, feel free, and be creative.

Felipe Escudero’s work is driven by his interest in becoming aware through the senses and by his drive to make the concerns of art relevant to society at large. Rather than identifying with any particular style or aesthetic, his work is best characterized by its working methodology as crucial means for turning thinking into doing. Escudero’s diverse work in sculpture, drawing, photography, film, and installations, is not limited to the confines of the museum and gallery, his practice engages the broader public sphere through architectural projects and interventions in civic space.
  • Void Cr
VOID began its activities in 2012 in Costa Rica. Currently it is constituted by architects Sergio Frugone, Felipe Rossi and Ricardo Sevilla. As an office we have a strong conviction that every project we develop, be it private or public development, should be thought to impact its imediate local context in a greater way. VOID does not pretend to be a traditional studio, rather, a creative studio where we believe in multidisciplinary processes and possess and promote a strong culture of collaboration. We believe that this way of working allows for critical and thoughtful discussion which opens new perspectives and opportunities when undertaking a project. We are an office structured on three pillas that involve design (Experience/Performance/Execution) and that converge in their center with the client, reminding us what is most important in each project. An idea that gathers its architects is the void (in the most exact sense of the word). VOID does not seek to project with and by the form but to steer away from formalism, being aware that void without shape does not generate space, but it shouldn’t be the shape that generates the void, otherwise becoming an unconscious process of sculpting out an architectural element.
