In 1997, textile designer Sandy Chilewich founded Chilewich in New York City. In her New York-based studio, Sandy Chilewich continues to impress the design world by applying her interest in color and experimentation with fibers to create her signature textile, woven vinyl, in addition to many others. Emily is a design historian, teacher, and writer/editor. Michael Sylvester is a writer who lives in both Los Angeles and an aisle seat, preferably in the exit row. On his pilgrimage to Dan Rockhill's Studio 804 in Lawrence, Kansas, to see its fabled prefab projects, he was feeling a bit self conscious being a Left Coast vegetarian in steak country. Steven Holl is an American architect, perhaps best known for the 2003 Simmons Hall at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the 2007 Bloch Building addition to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri, and the 2009 Linked Hybrid mixed-use complex in Beijing, China. The design for the Daeyang Gallery and house won Holl the 2012 Design Review Award.

Brad Liljequist is the program manager for zHome. For 23 years, he has worked as an urban designer and sustainable builder seeking to positively integrate human and natural communities. Brad has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors, and believes that a synergy between the issues and competencies of both are critical for effective community development. In addition to zHome, he managed the Northshore Community Plan, the Quality Urban Environment Project, and development of a LEED platinum, near zero energy fire station. He was educated at Georgetown University, the University of St. Andrews, and the UW Evans School.

Konstantin Grcic is a German industrial designer known for harnessing new technologies and materials to create stunning works of modern design. Born in 1965, he apprenticed as a cabinet maker at Parnham College in the UK before studying industrial design at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1991, he founded KGID, Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design. His work has includes the MAYDAY lamp for Flos, Miura barstool and Myto cantilever chair for Plank, and Chair One and 360 Containers for Magis in addition to creations for Lassicon, Krups, Moroso, Vitra, Luminaire, and Muji. He lives and works in Munich.
