We are a modern design firm; minimalists at heart.
Our mission is to enrich lives through the beauty of simplicity and the freedom of thoughtful space. Our goal is to promote the virtues of living consciously and authentically. We believe in quality over quantity, function over decoration, architecture over building, home over house. Our work helps people live abundantly and deliberately.
Contemporary is a style, but modern is a mode of thinking and a way of being.

From the scale of the city to the detail, CODA designs unique, site-responsive, and sustainable solutions that balance function and desire. Our award-winning work is known for its use of an innovative material palette, as well as for our commitment to a dynamic interaction between the architecture and its inhabitants over time.
Since 2008, CODA has designed clever solutions for a range of programs, from art installations to houses, from religious and public buildings to housing, and from furniture to entire city design. Despite this range, all of the projects have a specific approach in common: a serious investigation of the programmatic needs of the user at the same time as an expanded analysis of what the site has to offer, including materials, energy, artisanal techniques, etc. This approach leads to solutions that are at once novel and sustainable.
Our designs are often not one thing, but exist in different states in response to different seasons or programs. CODA has in-house expertise in both urban design, master planning, building design, and product design. CODA also collaborates with a variety of artists, fabricators, landscape designers, and engineers.

Bild Design is an assembly of independent architects, designers and fabricators—each with their own portfolio of experience and talent—that come together to collaborate on built form. Bild projects are a combination of ideas and explorations that focus on ground: how form receives and reacts to its context and surrounds; space: ways to configure and construct layered spatial experiences; and assembly: means and methods for joining various parts.
Recent Bild work includes a variety of new construction and renovation, residential and commercial projects that often investigate an approach towards regional remediation. This work represents Pre-Hurricane Katrina concerns related to domestic vertical growth, the relationship of the occupant to the ground, and post-storm responses to extended contextual relationships with the water. To varying degree, each project is influenced by and aims to address the needs of a culture struggling with issues of decay, economic shortage, and preservation within a framework of the issues of salvage, integration and progress.

OHIO Design's affordable, high quality products and spaces are rooted in honesty: of design, materials, method and character. No matter the piece, the size of the project, residential or commercial – OHIO makes furniture to be lived on, with and around – supporting the personality of the environment it inhabits. OHIO takes pride in crafting interesting materials into new and beautiful furnishings and spaces. Salvaged pieces, knotted and quirky wood grains all present a welcomed challenge – the possibility of a one-of-a-kind piece, brought to life by the material’s natural characteristics. OHIO values raw materials and the finished piece; the home it decorates and the people using it; the makers who made it and the designers who designed it. OHIO considers the entire process important.
