This newly revived Shoji screen is made by translucent fabric sandwiched with a pair of glasses set in thin extruded aluminum profiles instead of Japanese paper in wood grill. In this project, the screen is installed to divide temporal Japanese style room from living space of compact condominium in Japan. The Shoji Screen fabric's botanical patterned is chosen to match seashells of the Verner Panton pendant lamp above dining table and floral upholstery of sofa.
