Luminous Screens Submitted by: 2fORM Architecture Designer's Description: 2fORM Architecture relocated to a new office in 2007 and subsequently embarked on an in-house design project to remodel and personalize our new space. The building had previously been converted from an automotive garage into an open office. Although this conference room is a small project, it is a representation of our broader design philosophy‚ clarity of form, intentional spatial zoning, connection to outdoors, using simple materials in interesting ways (the framing is from reclaimed bleacher seats), and incorporating small gestures to create dynamic visual and spatial effects. The changes made have improved the aesthetic and functional qualities of the space, while giving it a sense of character that evokes the personality of our firm.
