Kennedy's honeymoon and later served as JFK’s West Coast presidential election headquarters. Perhaps most notably though, it served as the backdrop for one of The Godfather’s most infamous scenes, when—spoiler alert—movie producer Jack Woltz wakes up to see the head of his priced racehorse bloodying the foot of his bed.
