Zalto Wine Glasses
Zalto was founded by an Austrian family that has been producing exceptional glass for six generations. Zalto's elegant glasses are feather-light, incredibly strong, lead-oxide free and resistant to clouding. The angles of their bowls are tilted to 24, 48 and 72 degrees, corresponding to the tilt angles of the earth; it's the measurements the Romans used in constructing their storage houses, finding that it resulted in produce that lasted longer and tasted better.
Zalto is loved by press and restaurateurs alike—and most notably endorsed by chief sommelier at Le Bernardin, Aldo Sohm, who earned the "Best Sommelier in the World" title in 2008.
