Your food scraps are fertilizer now, thanks to this miracle worker. It takes apple cores, banana peels, chicken bones, the works, then breaks it all down into nutrient-rich goodness that’s a tenth of its original volume. The pop-out bucket lets you fill it up during your dinner prep, then drop it back in when it’s time to get cycling. Oh, and since it takes up just a cubic foot of space, you can keep it handy on the countertop (or in a nearby closet). We’re especially thankful for the carbon filter lid—that’s keeping any odors under wraps.
