OGK Safari Daybed
The OGK Safari Daybed is a versatile furnishing that is both minimalist and statement making. The furnishing was originally designed in 1962 by Ole Gjerløv-Khudsen for his son, who was embarking on a camping trip. Comprised of a sustainably harvested soaped beech framed and a natural jute bed, the Safari Daybed is easily transported and can be used in indoor and outdoor spaces. In an outdoor setting, the daybed becomes a cross between a hammock and a chaise lounge, and invites leisurely rests in the yard. The daybed can be used as a spare sleeping space in an interior, and makes a welcoming addition to an entryway or living room. Simple and neutral, the OGK Safari Daybed will adapt to a variety of indoor and outdoor decors.
