Magis Cyborg Club Armchair With Wicker Back
Made from air-molded polycarbonate, the Magis Cyborg club armchair was designed by Marcel Wanders in 2011. The term "cyborg" was coined in 1960 by Manfred Clynes, to mean an organism that has both artificial and natural systems. The Cyborg armchair comes in white or black glossy polycarbonate legs with a natural or black wicker back.
Marcel Wanders grew up in Boxtel, the Netherlands, and graduated cum laude from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988. He designs for Europe's biggest contemporary design manufacturers, including Moooi, of which he is also art director and co-owner.
