An extra layer of security

An outdoor camera can help keep your home secure and give you more peace of mind from wherever you are. Our weatherproof Hive View Outdoor security camera features night vision, 1080p HD livestreaming, person detection, smartphone notifications, two-way audio and more.

See what's happening day or night

With automatic night vision see what’s happening at any time. Livestream in 1080p HD straight to your smartphone.

Motion, sound, and person detection

Hive View Outdoor will automatically start recording if people, motion or sound are detected - and then store that footage securely online for you to see later.

Smartphone notifications

Get a notification when your camera detects sound or motion. It can even send a thumbnail image when a person is detected, so you know if it's a stranger or the kids back from school.

Link with your lights

Hive View Outdoor works seamlessly with other Hive products through the Hive app. For example, you can link your Hive Lights so they turn on if there’s motion outside and then it looks like you're home. You don't need a Hive Hub to use your camera, but you'll need one to connect your other Hive devices.

See something? Say something with two-way audio

Speak to whoever's at your door from the Hive app. Tell the delivery driver where to leave your package or an unwelcome visitor to go away, even if you're not at home.

Flexible installation options

If you need a little help with installation we've got you covered. We've partnered with the HomeAdvisor network of certified professionals who can install your Hive View Outdoor camera on your wall. Or with a ladder and some tools, you can set up your Hive View Outdoor camera yourself and start using it right away.

Designed to keep your home secure

Created in collaboration with designer Yves Béhar, Hive View Outdoor fits beautifully onto your home’s exterior walls. And with a 130° wide angle lens and up to 8x digital zoom, it captures a lot of ground, including hidden or vulnerable areas like a patio, back door or balcony.
