Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed the Copenhague Series for the new buildings at the University of Copenhagen. Built for use in dormitory rooms, classrooms, and common spaces, the furniture is characterized by warmth as well as functionality. The Copenhague Molded Plywood Desk CPH190 is rooted in a minimalist A-frame structure, featuring an angled tabletop that appears to fold out of trestle-style legs. The raised section, both functional and expressive, acts as a stand for notes and books. The frame is available in clear lacquered oak, matte lacquered oak, or black stained oak, while the tabletop is crafted from plywood with an oak veneer.
