This curvy glass carafe isn’t just a way to make your water look good—it also happens to turn any tap water into pure, clean-tasting water, thanks to a piece of binchotan charcoal that acts as a natural filter. The Japanese have used active charcoal as a natural water purifier for centuries; it reduces chlorine, mineralizes water, and balances the pH. The included binchotan active charcoal can be used for up to 3 months before it needs to be replaced (and can then be re-charged for another 3 months with a little boiling water). The carafe itself is made of hand-blown, sturdy soda glass and comes with cork stopper to top it all off.
