HAY Copenhague Chair
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed the Copenhague Series for the new buildings at the University of Copenhagen. Built for use in dormitory rooms, classrooms, and common spaces, the furniture is characterized by warmth as well as functionality. Stackable, durable, and easy to clean, the Copenhague Chair is ideal for high-traffic areas, be it an academic setting or in a home. Its legs meet in an inverse V, creating a decidedly sculptural triangle formation when stacked. The angled veneer is comprised of delicate layers of laminated oak, making the shell both strong and pliable. The Copenhague Chair also comes upholstered in a variety of colors.
