Each piece of the Dearborn collection is made without the use of molds and is comprised of fluted Boroscilicate glass. The champagne flute, wine glass, and water glass are each expertly handcrafted by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic.

Umbra Shift’s Pleated series was designed by MSDS as a way to accompany a plant through different growth stages. Each member of the Pleated earthenware collection is handmade and features geometric pleats that help highlight the contents of the piece. The Plicate Analog Watch from Nava Design is an inspired wristwatch, modeled after the pleats found in folder paper fans. A monochrome design, the watch strap is modeled after the watch case not only in color, but also in the pleated design. This thoughtful detail in the watch strap allows air to flow between the band and the arm of the wearer, which keeps the watch comfortable and prevents dirt from building up.

The architects wanted to create as much of a buffer as possible against the urban traffic outside the kitchen. A clerestory window manages to maintain a visual connection with the neighborhood while blocking its noise. The kitchen features Pleat Box pendant lights from Marset and Lio Stools by Roberto Barbieri for Zanotta.

The pleated roofline adds light and shadow to the bright and airy interiors.

Both sculptural and light, the Dancing Pendant Light from Menu is a refined overhead light with an unexpected shape. The pleated shade is constructed of a polyester felt, giving the pendant both visual and tactile texture. Resembling a tutu or a skirt, the shade has a flared, pyramidal silhouette that is given certain movement with the undulating waves of the shade. The Dancing Pendant Light was inspired by the idea of an elegant dancer on the floor, mid-twirl.

This Pleated Planter is sized to hold one plant and includes a self-watering wick to ensure that the plant does not need to be watered as frequently as typical earthenware planters. The earthy color of the planter makes it a neutral accent that will complement a dining room table, side table, or even the corner of a room.

Planters have been placed around the pleats to create pockets of sky gardens on the perimeter of the building, with some featuring steps that lead to other outdoor terraces.
