The kitchen was custom made by a local carpenter due to its unconventional scale. The appliances consist of a De Dietrich oven, Amana refrigerator, and Imperial microwave.

The coffee station features a professional-grade Rocket Espresso machine. Jang and King designed a stainless-steel pullout shelf for a cream and sugar station.
Reclaimed timber was used for the ceilings on the underside of the containers that form the second level.
The building was sited near the sidewalk to create a city-like sense of scale in a suburban setting.
The alignment of the shipping containers creates a courtyard for outdoor seating away from the street.
Urban Station (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

One branch of a string of similar workstations and spaces across Latin America, this office/coffee shop in the Palermo Soho neighborhood rents out desks near one of the city’s creative centers. Architects at Total Tool BA created a flexible space with separate meeting spaces and numerous outlets and plugs spread out amidst the ground floor. There are even branded yellow bicycles parked outside, another ploy to attract today’s mobile worker. According to founder Juan Pablo Russo, Urban Station was designed to stimulate creativity with a rich color palette, a mash-up of furniture styles, and a wall mural featuring an artist's interpretation of the brand slogan "think outside the cage."
The interior also features simple steel detailing, including this staircase.
The architects stenciled the Foghound logo on the exterior, which is illumiated at night.
The architects retained the original blue shade of the shipping containers.
The simple interior finishes include reclaimed timber and concrete floors.
“It was a major decision to put the kitchen in the center where everything would revolve around it,” says Lazor. “We did this simply by following what patterns we observed—it was just where people gravitated.” The bar stools are by Blu Dot, and the chairs by Charles and Ray Eames.

White Squirrel Coffee Shop

Named after the legendary albino squirrels that roam Trinity Bellwoods, this coffee establishment at the entrance of the park is a hub of activity, receiving heavy foot traffic. The coffee is good, fair-trade, and organic.
