The Swedish design duo draws from a rich Scandinavian tradition of simple, powerful graphics in this poster inspired by the art of small talk.

The Airstream is tucked into the back garden of a Berkeley co-op. Having a garden at my footsteps and chickens just over the fence make it feel peaceful and private.
A little one points to a chicken in a stylized plywood-and-acrylic coop by Chicken Co-Op. Complete with egg-shaped venting cutouts, the co-op has passive heating and cooling systems and a solar-powered fan to keep hens happy and naturally productive.

“Stacey hopes that we can use this as a prototype for a development of artists’ studios someday—we talked about maybe siting several of them together, like an old mobile home park.” The steel sculpture is by San Antonio artist George Shroeder.

I was lucky enough to catch a performance of Don Quixote starring the incredible Sonia Rodriguez. Before the show there was a "ballet talk" that not only helped explain elements of the ballet but highlighted the wonderful design of the center. Instead of just providing circulation, the network of bridges, stars, and spans in the foyer also take on other functions, such as an auditorium that can be used for purposes such as talks and lectures. It's quite a brilliant use of space.
One of the most talked-about events was the temporary, invitation-only exhibit 20 Designers at Biologiska, at the Biologika Museet (Biological Museum). Located inside a circa-1893 structure on Djurgården, the museum is basically a two-story cylindrical diorama that holds a collection of stuffed wildlife. Curated by Fredrik Färg, Emma Marga Blanche and Hanna Nova Beatrice, the exhibition is "about evolution, diversity, and universality, where contemporary design, art and light is housed in an unexpected context."
Glaser designed this poster as an introduction to Alan Heller's line of plastic, pasta-shaped pillows. The only clue that we are not talking about edible pasta is the measurement indicating that it is 60cm wide—mouthful even for ravioli lovers.
