The second-floor mezzanine now hosts a chic home office that looks out onto the roof terrace.
During the time he spent exploring the West, Spellman lived and worked in an old Ford van that ran off of vegetable oil.
The interior decor is Scandinavian-inspired, while also incorporating a 70s feel.
The office is a showcase that includes an Eames Storage Unit for Herman Miller, a wall-mounted Eames leg splint, and chairs by Eero Saarinen and Harry Bertoia for Knoll.
An IKEA desk and SKI wooden provide working accommodations in the study, overlooking the main living space.

The administration center is both comforting and practical—a simple yet sophisticated building that takes care of its visitors.
When asked what's next in the works, Spellman describes how he's working on an upcoming music festival and concert series called Westerly Sound.
With plenty of space, Spellman is able to utilize his studio to create his artwork and music, as well as use the area as a gathering area for entertainment.

Sheena's workspace is near the bed at the front of the trailer, while Jason's is separately located toward the back.
Because Sheena and Jason both work remotely, the couple made sure to create two dedicated work areas.

Damen, who is the chief technology officer for Jonathan Adler’s eponymous studio, filled the house with the designer’s work, like the Lucite-and-mappa-wood Bond desk and the Regent armchair in the shared office.
Pirman, an illustrator, works on a vintage Florence Knoll table in his studio at the front of the house.
Sottsass designed a shelving unit around the couple’s large collection of vintage radios. “We have lots of collections,” says Lesley. “A Pez collection, a chair collection, a perfume collection...Ettore gave us a choice and said we could pick one to have up on display.” A series of the late designer’s Mini Totem earthenware sculptures sit atop the unit. The neon green light accent was inspired by the fluorescent works of artist Dan Flavin. To the right is a First chair from 1983 by designer Michele De Lucchi, who cofounded Memphis.
The office is filled with CB2 finds; its ceiling reveals the roof’s 45-degree pitch.
Inside the Cube, a Wishbone chair by Hans Wegner pulls up to a built-in painted lacquer desk.
Graham, an entrepreneur, works from a fold-down New Table Concept by Resource Furniture. The reusable earthenware mug, a replica of the classic coffee-to-go cups served at New York’s Greek diners, is his own design.

Although the house was refurbished before North bought it in 1996, it still includes some of Breuer's original built-in furniture, including the desk in the bedroom, as well as a chair designed by the architect.
In the office, a Tolomeo desk lamp from Artemide rests on a desk that Stock designed and built in her university days. The Static shelving is by Lundia.
