The daybed beneath the window was specifically designed for LOVT. Apart from hiding storage, it can be moved from the wall and split into two unites to provide extra seating.

The chair came from an antique dealer in Mallorca. The blue painting is by Catalan artist Regina Giménez.
The built-in cabinet bench is original to the home, while Ginger’s low, clean-lined furnishings underscore, without distracting from, the incredible views.
Large windows allow the lush, tropical garden to become a focus of the interior design. Ginger replaced the previous bulky shades with a sleek, motorized, exterior shade system. “They are on a timer,” she explains, “so that they automatically lower in the late afternoon for about four hours.”
Birch plywood floating cabinets line the wall, carving out room for a painting that commands the dining room. The rest of the decor is quiet with subtle pops of greenery to echo the striking piece.

"The Kiki Smith piece I had rolled up," she says. "I had never had the opportunity—or high-enough ceilings—to hang it before."

The most important aspect of designing this home was capturing the views from every angle. By placing the home on stilts, Herbst was able to make the best use of the surroundings.

When the husband-and-wife team behind Austin-based Co(X)ist Studio set out to remodel their 1962 ranch-style house, they wanted to update it to suit their modern lifestyles—as well as demonstrate the design sensibilities of their young firm. The original home was dim, compartmentalized, and disconnected from the outdoors. Architects Frank and Megan Lin opened up the floor plan, created an addition, and built an expansive back porch, using several reclaimed materials in the process.
The apartment has been carefully configured to take full advantage of the 180-degree views of the city skyline.

Much of Zee's furniture is made by herself with Katie Gong including her coffee table, dining table, and large bench. The pendant lamps are by Sam Lee with a Saffron and Poe chair in the corner and Kudd Krig Home tapestry behind. The neon art on the wall is by Meryl Pataky, and the ceramic knots are by MQuan Studio.
Zeng has beautifully woven modern and classic elements throughout her home's decor. The Sofa Workshop is upholstered with Andrew Martin fabric. The armchair and coffee table are from Made.
On one end of the top-floor communal space is a white volume that neatly contains the kitchen, pantry, and toilet.
The living room is defined by large glass sliders by Fleetwood that open up to the backyard, allowing light to flood the downstairs space. The room features a Crosby sofa by West Elm, CH25 lounge chairs by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son, and a OW 150 daybed by Ole Wanscher.
