The rumpus room on the lowest level opens out to the pool deck and features a Boyd floor lamp from Australian brand Jardan, and a Nebula Nine sofa by Diesel Creative Team for Moroso.
The curved ceiling was built from layered Austral Plywoods hoop pine plywood sourced from Queensland plantation forests. The flooring is blackbutt timber.
The first-floor living room features a dramatic fireplace with a concrete surround and solid brass shelves that frame the wood storage and shelving.
The lounge room on the first floor features Fly chairs in white oiled oak by SPACE Copenhagen for &Tradition, sourced from Great Dane Furniture, and a Bart swivel armchair by Moooi from Space Furniture.
The artwork in the first-floor living room is by contemporary figurative artist Kathrin Longhurst. Colorful pieces, such as the artwork and furniture, bring a sense of vibrancy into the otherwise minimal home.
The living room on the first floor is the main family gathering space. “It is the collection zone for togetherness, and offers an abundance of natural light and extended views out to the bay and beyond,” says architect Tony Vella.
The rear facade has been divided into two, with a fully glazed wall that floods the living space with natural light.
Strategically placed windows allow ample natural light to illuminate the single-story interior.
The living room fully opens and extends to the terrace, allowing for indoor/outdoor living.
The open-plan interiors are flooded with natural light, which streams through a wall of east-facing windows to the clerestory that step up and down with the design.
Large wood-framed windows with multi-plane glass help bring more light into the interiors.
The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen spaces are located on the ground floor.
Seen at night, the sumptuous living area features modern furnishings and a long wood-burning fireplace.
Living Room
Concrete, which reflects the color of the surrounding dunes, serves as a coherent binding material that connects all the interior spaces.
The materials that have been used for the façade, together with the enfilade of spaces of the new volume, echo the local architecture of the elongated farmhouses in the area.
Raw concrete walls and polished concrete floors are used in the interior to form a neutral backdrop for built-in wood furniture and colorful rugs and artworks.
For the common areas, they choose more masculine, and contemporary design elements, and a darker color scheme to express the style preferences of the husband.
Studio Adjective's new residential project for a lovely couple with a new born child at Dragon's Range, Hong Kong. With a spectacular view of natural greens, we hope to blend in the interior naturally with it and extend the natural lights further into the apartment. The corridor, bedrooms and foyer are rearranged to enhance the flow of space.

Room 1, located on the 2nd floor,  blends industrial detailing with exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors, rich textile finishes, and a custom walnut bed.

All In Studio designed the custom furniture, in complementary gray, to be modular, flexible, and functional. When unfolded, the sofa doubles as a bed.
The Serge Mouille floor lamp is paired with the Fabricius & Kastholm Grasshopper chair in the living room. The custom walnut cabinet is mounted on red cedar siding, which provides a dramatic backdrop for the Eames sofa and a Finn Juhl coffee table of solid walnut.
