Military History Museum (Dresden, Germany) To create a space dedicated to Germany's military history, Libeskind designed a five-story, 14,500-ton wedge of concrete and steel that contrasts with a 19th-century armory building. At its highest point, the towering form creates a viewing platform that overlooks Dresden.
