Hovering over the Libertine bar/restaurant in Casa Bonay is a massive lighting installation by Santa &amp; Cole, Barcelona-based creators and editors who designed the industrial lighting throughout the space.
In The Resting Room, master distiller Jake Burger and a team of instructors create their gin in two 30-liter copper stills on-site. You can also test out a curated selection of international spirits that have been aged in handmade barrels that sit above the bar.
A series of Masters chairs by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet for Kartell enliven the dining area of Don and Linda Shafer’s hilltop prefab home in Marfa, Texas. The walnut Light Extending Table by Matthew Hilton for De La Espada straddles the black steel band “marriage line” that connects the two modules that make up the living area.
