“It was important to Lois that the outside come inside,” says Molly, who designed the master bedroom to maximize the views. “The windows make you feel like you’re in a sea of sagebrush.” The Equo Gen 3 LED floor lamp is from YLighting.

All of the furniture was meticulously handmade by Klebba and Reis to serve the family’s needs.

Each bedroom is designed to replicated a mini house, and follows the roof's pitch. A skylight lets in light. A custom unit made of white-painted MDF panels provides necessary storage.
Ritenour carved a window into an L-shaped wall to open the cramped master bedroom to a small, light-filled atrium (below). An unsightly structural beam was covered with wood to create a distinctive sunken bed.
Antique Art Deco–style lamps flank a West Elm bed in the master bedroom, which accesses a private backyard garden. The smoke-colored Series 11 6 Drawer Console is from Blu Dot; the built-in shelving was custom-made by Wood Management.
The master bedroom and main den replicate the living room's warmth, comfort, and understatedness, while the kitchen is characterized by solid elegance.
