Guest Bedroom

The master bedrooms open directly onto the outdoor space.
There are no closets and no minibars in the guest rooms, reflecting the designers' minimalist approach. Features include a curved wooden headboard and a hammock hanging from the ceiling. Unfinished ceilings reveal partitions of the old structure, even down to the screws.
The general contractor’s former office space was converted into a small apartment dwelling for the couple.

The 12 different room types are furnished with pieces designed by Fort STandard, Fern, Samuel Moyer Furniture, and Vermont Farm Table. You’ll also find wall art—including photography and hand-woven tapestries—by Emily Johnston and The Catskill Kiwi.
The furnishings and fixtures have all been selected with the notion of relaxation in mind. Natural materials, soft textiles, and neutral colors continue the muted palette of the construction.
The minimal, modern character extends into the bedrooms. Simple steel shelves are embedded in the wall above a linear fireplace. A rattan pendant hangs above the nightstand.
The Drum table by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin also has brass and bronze accents. The ebonized oak headboard has upholstered insets of tie-dyed kona cotton.
