The impressive 21 x 17 master suite has a dressing room, a dream walk-in closet, and an extra-large ensuite bathroom.

From bedroom til living room. Lots of natural lighting, even when the sliding door is partly closed. Daybed for relaxing moments after a hard and busy day at work. The work space is lightened up with LED on the wall/ceiling. Worktop desk is made of birch plywood with lots of storage.

The perimeter walls have been peeled back to expose the original brick as a reference to the building's past.
Bedrooms are adorned with the same simple material palette.  Wood clad walls, white ceilings, large windows, and simple pops of color allow the views to remain as the focal point.

On the second floor of the inn, the six bedrooms were refreshed with new paint, light fixtures, and furnishings.

The master suite has sliding doors that lead out to the exterior patio.
A wooden chair and fiddle leaf fern are calming accents in the sleeping area.
The bedroom is located on the uppermost level that connects to a small outdoor balcony.

The bed is flanked by two staircases, one of which is hidden behind a white curtain. Hidden storage is integrated into the stair design.
The bedroom box is surrounded by hidden storage, from the white closet (seen behind the red dog) to built-in drawers. The wooden surface behind the yellow chair can be extended out to create a dining tabletop.
This custom glass structure by Ilex Construction allows for an abundance of light during the day. At night, Lightolier fixtures on the ceiling illuminate the Ella bed. Sherwin-Williams “Pure White” was painted on all interior walls.
On the opposite side of the kitchen are two bunk beds that can be tucked away.

The clean, white interiors also follow the Danish sommerhus’ simplicity of form and color.

A glass-enclosed master suite is equipped with automatic shades and sliding glass doors to a large terrace that appears to float weightless over the lights of Los Angeles.

Within each bedroom, the architecture acts as a frame to the landscape beyond. The opening picture faces east towards the land and water conservation project across the street; it is 10' h x 15' w.

A wardrobe with wooden doors on the first floor bedroom contains and hides the shower and toilet.
For the interiors, the architects used mostly black-varnished steel sheets and durmast wood.
A cloistered interior corridor links all the different rooms within the house.

Perhaps the room that most reflects our personality is the bedroom.
