All of the existing windows were replaced with newer versions by the company that did the originals, Arcadia. The master bedroom and bathroom are located where the kitchen and dining area once were. The floating bed is by TemaHome and the Mirror Ball pendant is by Tom Dixon.
Similar to the open spaces, the sleeping quarters have operable, sliding glass doors and clerestory windows allow the tropical air to freely pass between the exterior and interior.
The bedrooms were made to be as flexible as possible, while still feeling comfortable. The throw at the end of the bed is sourced from Zigzag Zurich.
Throw pillows are like the costume jewelry of a bedroom—they put on the finishing touches to a space and help provide a pop of color, yet they can easily be switched out when a trend is no longer in style.
The black lacquer finish used in the common area was repeated in a headboard for the master bedroom.

The Bunk Room, located on the first floor, has direct pool access.  Custom built in bunk beds provide the perfect accommodations for a group of friends.
Three-hundred thread count sheets provide a good night's sleep, while rain showers and Grapefruit Sage products from the onsite spa contribute to a pampered experience.

It’s hard to take your eyes and mind off the Statue of Liberty, considering the current political landscape, but there’s also a bird's-eye view of the park’s voluminous tree tops. We forced ourselves to leave the comfort of our room and wander in Brooklyn Bridge Park, where we discovered Anish Kapoor’s public art installation titled Descension. The artwork is a thing of great beauty and strength that took our minds right back to political chaos. But we kept walking until we found Jane’s Carousel and witnessed a diverse sea of beaming toddler faces going around and around on brilliant and fantastic animals—a hope-restoring site.

Custom bunk beds are built into one of the guest bedrooms.  A circular opening is a playful addition.
Triangular skylights make an appearance in the Master Bedroom as well.  A concrete partition wall with a recessed bookshelf provides a custom headboard solution.
The bed was custom-made by Roen Furniture, and the Melampo Mini wall lights are by Adrien Gardere for Artemide.
NOTE designed the wood blue-gray wall covering in this bedroom. A chrome Bestlite BL6 wall lamp by Gubi hangs near custom-made curtains, created using fabric by Astrid.

Four bedrooms on the upper level feature wood floors, modern art, and ceiling beams, while the master bedroom on the third floor (pictured here) enjoys an ensuite bathroom and private terrace. On the rooftop, another bronze-clad terrace supplies a barbecue and city views.
The Willow & Juniper tree house by ArtisTree
Exposed boards that were salvaged from the original apartment were installed into the master bedroom. They provide a rustic atmosphere, enhanced by the addition of DIY industrial lighting. The bedding, curtains, and bedside tables are all from IKEA.
Hawkins created the built-in anigre bed and side tables in the master bedroom. Chenault designed the bedding; the sconces are from Artemide.
In addition to an ensuite main bedroom, the mezzanine floor sleeps two in a cozy sleeping nook.
In the master bedroom, expanses of white and peach paint play against the geometric lines of an inlaid-bone nightstand from Anthropologie. The traditional four-poster bed is from West Elm; the brass Cedar & Moss sconce is from Rejuvenation.
Rather than clutter the master bedroom with furniture, Frame Design Lab created a system where night stands hang from a wall-mounted headboard.
After successfully reconfiguring his own tiny New York City apartment, Robert Garneau, partner at Architecture Workshop PC, reinvented a 400-square-foot studio for neighbors just a few floors down. Called the Pivot Apartment, the highly efficient residence now serves multiple functions, thanks to a central modular unit that can be arranged to create distinct stations for living, sleeping, and entertaining.
Custom folding doors, inspired by Rudolf M. Schindler’s 1930 Elliot House, were created by Rene Maya to Andrew’s specifications.
A pair of floating nightstands in the master bedroom are by Børge Mogensen; the sconces are by Kurt Versen and came with the house. The panel of fabric over the oak Matera bed from Design Within Reach is Incantation, by Lustig— the piece was originally  used as a curtain.
CB2 was also a major furnishing source in this bedroom, as the lighting and matching patterned pillows were found there. The striped throw at the edge of the bed is from Etsy.
In the master bedroom, the couple opted for Artemide lighting: Vintage Eclisse table lamps by Vico Magistretti hang over the nightstands and a Tizio table lamp by Richard Sapper rests on a side table. The lounge chairs are vintage finds, and the rug is a Bedouin design purchased in Jerusalem.
The bed, bedside tables, and console are all designed by Miguel Marcelino. The Glo-Ball bedside lamps are by Jasper Morrison and the Tolomeo wall lamp is by Michele De Lucchi.
