58 Bedroom Night Stands Ceiling Lighting Design Photos And Ideas

Architect Michael Ferguson of SPACE International led the renovation of the 1950s bungalow, as well as the addition of a second floor, which he set back from the street to keep the home at scale with its neighboring structures.
Sloped ceilings, covered with stained Western red cedar, add warmth to the interior (bottom). “We set out to design using the best of what modernism has to offer, but to try to execute that in a way that is livable and home-like,” says architect Jonathan Feldman. The bedroom contains an A. Rudin bed and a Beau chair from Room & Board. It opens onto a deck with an aluminum awning
The double-height master bedroom is Dave’s favorite place in the house, particularly when the moon is shining. The bed, planter, and side tables are all from West Elm; the tapestry above the bed is from Southeast Asia.
The living area is appointed with small, efficient furnishings, including a rolling tray table by Hans Bolling and a Diplomat Sleeper Sofa by Blu Dot (a second one is situated opposite the Murphy bed).
A variation on the system serves as a wardrobe in the sleeping loft. Additional storage can be found in the walnut platform with side tables. Although it appears less in the photo, the space between the platform and the lowest part of the ceiling is about four and a half feet, allowing René to comfortably sit up in bed. A Lutron screen lowers for privacy.

Edwardian Renovation - Guest Bedroom
The Suarezes opted for a cozy bedroom with beautiful details, old and new—lustrous mahogany behind the bed, Baker tables beside it. The long beam overhead replaced the original, but smaller beams above it are authentic.
